Submission Guidelines

Content Requirements

  • Every article must be rooted in a specific Scripture passage
  • Content must be Christ-centered and gospel-focused
  • Open with the primary Scripture passage as a blockquote
  • Include 3-5 section headings that guide the reader through the reflection
  • Close with a reflection prompt or application question
  • Warm, encouraging tone — write as if speaking to a friend
  • 500-1000 words depending on category

Theological Standards

  • Faithful to the authority and sufficiency of Scripture
  • Consistent with historic, orthodox Christian doctrine
  • Avoid speculation or personal opinion presented as biblical truth
  • Use the ESV or other standard English translations for Scripture quotations

Formatting

  • Include a clear, compelling title
  • Provide a 1-2 sentence excerpt/summary
  • Specify the primary Scripture reference
  • Choose a category: Devotional, Reflection, Encouragement, or Scripture Study
  • Submit as plain text or markdown

Article Categories

Devotional

A short, focused meditation on a specific passage of Scripture. Devotionals open with the text, explore its meaning, and close with practical application. Warm, personal tone. 500-800 words.

Reflection

A thoughtful exploration of a biblical theme or passage, often drawing connections between Scripture and the Christian life. More contemplative in tone, inviting the reader to sit with the text. 600-900 words.

Encouragement

A piece written to strengthen and uplift believers who may be weary, doubting, or walking through difficulty. Gospel-centered hope applied to real struggles. 500-800 words.

Scripture Study

A deeper dive into a passage, word, or theme in Scripture. May include historical context, original language insights, or cross-references. Accessible but substantive. 600-1000 words.

Include your name, the article title, Scripture reference, and chosen category.

All submissions are reviewed by our editorial team. We may suggest edits for clarity, tone, or theological precision. We will respond to every submission within two weeks.
